Job Description
Supports the day-to-day execution of general ledger impacted processes, including support to clients as they work with and understand these processes. Performs accounting functions specifically in the areas of account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting and discrepancy resolution.
Candidate Profile
- Proficiency in English level C1 and higher (both oral and written) to be able to conduct a fluent business conversation with various audience and to write business related texts while adjusting to various audience;
- Strong organization skills;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Effective decision making skills;
- Good negotiation skills;
- Ability to acquire and maintain relationships e.g., employees, customers, vendors;
- Must be dynamic, flexible, self-motivated and detail oriented person;
- Excel skills and knowledge on high level e.g. processing large volume of data, complex formulas, pivot tables; macros and VBA are advantage;
- Ability to use standard software applications;
- Opened to develop and relocate within Marriott International;
- No previous hospitality experience necessary;
- Finance and/or accounting university degree;
- Accounting professional qualification is a plus (e.g. CPA, ACCA etc.);
- At least 2 years of practicing accounting; team leadership experience is advantage.
