Job Description
- Conduct banquet tours and entertain clients to enhance the guest’s meeting /banquet experience
- Assist clients with menu planning, food and beverage coordination, table arrangements, decoration options, etc.
- Arrange all details of meetings and social events (weddings, baptism) to include room set-ups, staging, lighting, audiovisual, traffic flow, menus, decor, entertainment, group room blocks, and VIP services
- Plan and conduct pre-event and post-event meetings with clients and kitchen staff to determine potential enhancements to the guest experience
- Come up with suggestions to enhance the event’s success
- Coordinate all operations
- Provide guests with information (example: area attractions, restaurants, facility information) to enhance guest experience
- Ensure event is completed smoothly and step up to resolve any problems that might occur
- Analyze the event’s success and prepare reports
Candidate Profile
• Proven experience as event manager, with focus on weddings, baptism, at least 2 years;
• Computer savvy; proficient in MS Office
• Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
• Excellent organizational skills
• A knack for problem-solving
• Customer-service orientation
• A team player with leadership skills
• Must speak local language
